For spectacular views and a workout with a touch of inspiration, head to the Big Oaks Recreation Area and take a walk to the top of the dam. Covering 2.75 miles (roundtrip) of stunning scenery, this paved trail offers panoramic views of Lake Hartwell as you make your way to the top of the dam.
