When and Where?
Nancy Ball and Awards Ceremony - typically in January. This is a semi-formal event hosted at a local venue with music, food and our annual awards given out! This event is typically for Chamber Members and their guests.
Cars N Guitars - this event is always held on Memorial Day Weekend and is open to the public. This is a fun car show where you can vote on your favorite vehicle. Over 100 cars typically enter, food vendors are available too!
Pre-4th - this event is held the Saturday before July 4th and is a public event. The fun begins in town at a vendor fair hosted by the Hartwell Service League and ends with a fireworks celebration on the Lake!
Christmas Tree Lighting - the Monday before Thanksgiving. This event fills the downtown with kids awaiting for Santa to arrive on the firetruck! Santa photos and the lighting of the Hart County Christmas Tree! Non profits offer free activities for the kids and all are welcome to attend.
Christmas Parade - the second Sunday in December, this parade runs from the High School to the Ace Hardware parking lot. Many floats that are typically theme oriented, school bands, and local performance groups entertain the large crowds that gather.
